This louver style is ideal for a clean architectural appearance where high free areas and/or lower pressure drop through the louver is required. If you are intending the louvers to be used for general ventilation or air exhaust, this is the right choice. Deeper framed models are also available (E6JP).

This feature allows higher air intake velocities before entraining water. If your application is air intake, consider this or other drainable louvers first. If this louver will not handle your intake velocities, consider a deeper louver or a wind driven rain louver instead (E6DP, E6WH).

The High Performance series will handle higher intake velocities with lower pressure drop across the louver. These models have the added benefits of higher free areas and allowing greater air velocities before entraining water.
