Type 316 stainless is recommended for high sulphur fuels and/or corrosive environments.
Type 304 stainless steel is suitable for gas, number two diesel grades of fuel, oil or wood. All pipes and fittings are continuous seam-welded and pressure tight. Wide-end flanges provide a strong, virtually leak proof joint. Containment and closure bands resist slippage from vibration or thermal expansion because they are deeply flanged and channeled.
