RAM SERIES renovation treads provide a safe, long lasting,
and economical means of replacing worn and unsafe treads. Ram™ Series
repair treads feature a durable 6063-T6 aluminum base with interlocked V-ribs
of aluminum oxide and silicon carbide in a rugged binder, providing a maximum
safety-to-wear ratio.

Renew Worn & Slippery Stairs
The 9 depth of Model 209-3 is ideal for the average stair. Deeper
stairs require the 11 option (Model 211-3). Deeper coverage for landings and
wide platforms are available. All full-coverage treads feature a 9/32 thickness,
with 7 degree bends for sloped risers and beveled ends optional.
All treads and nosing are furnished cut-to-size, and delivered drilled & countersunk
and ready for installation. Product installation requires only a screwdriver,
making the work suitable for existing building maintenance staff.

Installation Information
Prior to installation, coverage areas should be prepared to assure a level
and uniform surface. Use a filling/leveling compound on worn stairs. Screws
with expansion shields may be necessary on surface areas other than wood. For
best installation results, use a rubber based construction adhesive between
the tread and step in addition to mechanical fasteners.
