Nixalite of America Inc is the single manufacturer and single source for the Nixalite Architectural Bird Control Strips. There are no equals or other sources for the Nixalite models. All Nixalite Strip models are made in the U.S.A. and used internationally for effective, long lasting bird control.
Nixalite Mounting Hardware
Nixalite’s standard mounting hardware is included with the Nixalite strips in set quantities. Made from stainless steel or non-corrosive materials, Nixalite hardware allows for strip removal and reinstallation without damaging the installation surface, the Nixalite strips or the mounting system.
The following table provides the individual components supplied with mounting hardware units. Specify the mounting hardware that best suits the installation surface.

Never use less than 2 hardware units per piece of Nixalite.
Nixalite Accessories (sold separately)
- Installation Tool: Designed to quickly and safely push or pull the Nixalite strips into or out of the Nixalite mounting clips and hardware.
- Wire Tying Tool: Used with the Nixalite wire ties. Swivel handle quickly tightens wire ties around Nixalite strips and objects such as pipes.
- Cutting Tool: HD, straight cut aviation snips. Cleanly cuts the Nixalite base strip where desired.
- Square Drive Bits & Hand Drivers: Square drive bits (for drills) and hand drivers required for installing Nixalite’s sheet metal screws.
- Glue Clips: Installed with adhesive when surface conditions do not permit the use of the supplied mounting hardware. Glue clips allow for strip removal and reinstallation without damaging the strip, the adhesive bond or the installation surface.
- Ridge Caps - Stainless steel form fastens Nixalite to roof ridges and other peaked surfaces. Two stainless nails provided.
- Adhesive: Used ONLY if the supplied mechanical mounting hardware cannot be used. Always use mechanical fasteners whenever and wherever possible. Adhesive is required when Glue Clips or Wire Ties are used to fasten the Nixalite strips.
Surface Cleaning Systems
Nixalite offers several effective surface disinfectants and deodorants to neutralize potentially hazardous bird or animal waste and prepare the installation surface for installation.
- Steri-Fab: A bactericide, sanitizer, viricide, fungicide, insecticide, deodorant, disinfectant and mildewcide all in one safe and easy to use spray. Spray on almost any surface without fear of staining.
- Microcide SQ: A broad spectrum hospital grade cleaner, disinfectant and bactericide that sanitizes hard surfaces as well as fabrics and clothing.
- Microsan Anti-bacterial Soap, Lotion and Waterless Sanitizer: Provides residual anti-bacterial and anti-microbial protection against disease transmittal. Used in medical facilities around the world, Microsan kills a wide spectrum of bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses.
- Poop-Off All Marine Bird Dropping Remover: A non-toxic, biodegradable bird dropping remover that is safe and effective for use in both marine and land applications. Instantly dissolves bird droppings both wet and dry, in or out of the marine environment.
- Poop-Off Stain & Odor Remover: Out cleans and removes odors and stains better because it contains more enzymes than the three leading brands combined. Active natural enzymes remove the worst types of odors and stains. Biodegradable, safe and effective.

Nixalite Blunt Tip: Nixalite offers a blunt-tip option (BT) for both the Model S and Model H Nixalite. BT Nixalite models are the same as the original Nixalite designs with the exception of blunt or flat tips to the wires. Otherwise, spacing, specifications and installation procedures are the same.
ColorCoat option: Standard colors are black, white, gray, tan, brown, bronze, green and red. Choose standard color that best suits application. Custom colors available. For details on the color matching process, go to the ColorCoat web page at www.nixalite.com or contact Nixalite directly.
Custom Installation Forms
Nixalite designs and manufactures custom forms to help fasten the Nixalite strips to difficult surfaces such as structural steel, ceramic tiles, fragile stone, glass, gutters and many more. Made from 316 stainless steel, Nixalite's custom forms are designed to fit on, around or over the objects or surfaces you specify. With the Nixalite’s stainless steel mounting hardware pre-installed, custom forms eliminate surface layout time. Custom forms are ideal for fastening Nixalite strips to difficult, no-drill surfaces.
