The Bird Buffer is a programmable, electronic aerosol generator that repels flying birds by producing a nearly invisible repellent haze. Birds that fly through the haze soon associate the location with the repellent’s effect and leave the area for good. Bird Buffers are quiet, safe and extremely efficient, using very little repellent to cover huge open areas. Included timers allow for unattended operation at times of peak bird activity.

The Bird Buffer repels birds in open spaces indoors and outdoors with a nearly invisible haze of safe and humane repellent haze. Quiet, safe and efficient.
If you will be placing your Bird Buffer unit outside you must protect the electronics from the rain, snow or wind blown water. The Buffer Cover is a hard plastic cover made specifically to protect the units electronics when placed outside.
To be effective, birds must be exposed to the repellent haze. The Bird Buffer produces an envelope of repellent haze up to 150ft high and 150ft wide. As a bird flies through this envelope, the repellent haze stimulates a birds’ mucous membranes and trigeminal nerve. With each exposure, the birds associate the location with the repellent and stay away.
With each exposure fewer and fewer birds return to the area. Small areas can be cleared in 3 to 5 days while larger areas can take up to two weeks.
Bird Buffer is most effective in repelling flying birds as they inhale the repellent 30X faster than a bird at rest. The Bird Buffer haze is proven effective against all birds, including pigeons, seagulls, geese, crows, blackbirds, herons, vultures, starlings, sparrows and more. The haze affects larger birds first, with smaller birds (sparrows, etc.) requiring longer exposures.
A Bird Buffer would be a good choice for large open areas with large numbers of birds scattered randomly through the area. A Bird Buffer should also be considered when the problem area is a wide open space such as a flat roof, orchard or large industrial facility. If you have birds sitting on isolated surfaces, then a Nixalite spike barrier or deterrent to keep them off of that specific surface.
