PORTABLE MODULAR BOARDS

Aarco Portable Modular Boards can be moved from room to room or wall to wall easily. A screwdriver is all that is needed to unlock these boards. Additionally, boards can be raised or lowered in height to conform to the users comfort, even from a seated position. At the same time boards are safely locked into position when in use.

Simple to Install

Extruded 6' uprights are precision punched to maintain a plum and level installation. Pre-drilled holes facilitate hardware for wall mounting using anchors or toggle bolts depending upon the wall construction.

All units are shipped with templates to assist in wall alignment.

End standards have a single row of precision punched holes and are used on individual boards or as left and right sides of multiple board systems.

Double Standards have two rows of precision punched holes and are used between boards of multiple board system (see figure 2).

Standard Design

All units are fabricated with series 10-2500 trim and 10-2501 chalktray. Trim is specifically designed for heavy-duty use with an extra wide rear face for mounting modular clips (see figure 1). Chalktrays are mitred at corners to provide a neat, non-exposed edge. Ends of the tray are machined with round corners and polished to a smooth finish.

Each unit has a locking device located at the top corner of each side. The locking device is made of hardened steel threaded bushing permanently pressed into the frame. By simply tightening a machine screw, the board is securely locked into position.

Modular Tack Boards offer a selection of one of the following Aarco series:

Series 10-013
VIC Cork 1/4" thick, mounted to 1/4" hardboard.

Series 10-015
Fabric Covered, 1/4" Natural Cork Laminated to 1/4" Tempered hardboard.

Series 10-023
Burlap-Weave Vinyl, 1/4" Natural Cork Laminated to 1/4" hardboard.

Series 10-031
Natural Pebble Grain Cork, 1/4" Laminated to 1/4" Tempered hardboard.

All Modular Units are either 48" × 48" or 48" × 96". Both sizes are interchangeable on standard uprights.
