Series 100: Residential Casement

Residential Casements
The Series 100 is the A & S Casement Window. This is an exceptionally strong window that will grace any home.  The Series 100 is the window for Tudor Style Architecture, preserving the look and feel of that period.  Also perfect for any stone structure. It is available to your specifications and like all our products, it is given a factory applied rust inhibitor primer.  Hot dip galvanizing and factory finishes are available.  You are never limited to stock colors when you specify windows from A & S Window.

Specifications

Material:
Sections shall be hot-rolled solid steel bars. Frame and ventilator members shall be especially designed casement type Z sections, not less than 1” deep, with weathering baffles rolled integrally to provide continuous double contact between frame and ventilator members.

Construction:
Corners shall be mitered and electrically butt-welded. Open out side hinged ventilators shall be hung on extension type hinges and shall permit cleaning outside glass from within the room.  Muntin bars, when required, shall be mortised and welded into place.

All windows to be given one factory applied dip coat of manufacturer’s rust inhibitive gray primer.

Hot Dip galvanizing and factory finishes are available.

The Series 100 is an authentic period window that predates insulated glass; therefore insulated glass cannot be specified.
