Musson has been a pioneer and leader in the development, manufacture
and distribution of safety stair covering and flooring materials. Since
the first new design was introduced in 1948, Musson has strived to put
together the most complete and comprehensive line of top quality rubber
and vinyl stair coverings for use in public buildings. These products,
along with rubber and vinyl matting, have been engineered for beauty, style,
easy installation, easy cleaning, long-range economy, quiet and comfort.
Information In This Electronic Presentation
Featured in this presentation are the most popular and widely used Musson
stair covering products. (1) Disc-O-Tred Flame Spread Resistant rubber
stair treads of outstanding design, durability and fire safety. (2) Disc-O-Tile
Rubber Floor Tile offers a landing product to match the Disc-O-Tred stair
treads. It is also ideal for use in entryways, heavily trafficked areas,
ramps, elevators, etc. Disc-O-Tile is Flame Resistant. (3) Diamond Design
stair treads of solid rubber; also with grit-strips inserted for additional
non-slip features. (4) New long nose Diamond Design rubber stair treads
with our industry leading Adjusta-Nose; allows the nose to fit a wide range
of angle-back nosings.

are reproduced as accurately as possible. Final color selection should
be made from actual samples.

Testing of Products
All molded rubber stair covering materials listed in our catalog are
supplied with sanded backs for ease in installation and better adhesion.
Physical properties of all molded rubber products have been tested under
ASTM D-471; MIL 1-631D; ASTM D-624 DIE C; ASTM 2240 SHORE A; ASTM D-2047;
ASTM-E-662; ASTM-E 392-73T; and SS312B.
